It's official: Warmind is the second Destiny 2 DLC, arrives on May 8!

The new Crucible maps will be available to all players.


Bungie has released a new update of the roadmap of Destiny 2 , briefly overtaking some of the improvements that apply to your video game space action between spring and autumn. Among other things, the parents of Halo have confirmed the imminent arrival of the second DLC: Warmind (Strategist for the Spanish versions) will debut on May 8 .

For now, the official details are rather scarce: it will be formally presented in a trailer and a live program on April 14 , but we already know that it will include all its new maps -including the additions in the Osiris Curse expansion- in Public lists of the Crucible, which means that all players will have access to all PvP maps regardless of whether they buy the downloadable or not.

However, maps belonging to a DLC may only be selected in private games by players who have acquired such content. This will help unify the community with public playlists for fast, competitive games, Tests of the Nine, Iron Banner, and so on.


The aforementioned private game functionality will be introduced in season 3, along with the new expansion; but it will not be the only novelty. Next month, the classification system will also be introduced for competitive games, as well as additional inventory spaces, modifiers in heroic assaults, exceptional weapon improvements and Ocaso challenge cards.

In summer, a new seasonal event will be introduced , as well as improvements to the Faction Assembly event, a renewed contract system and a clan chat for PC. Sometime in the fall (presumably with the third expansion) we will see in Destiny 2 new records, a page of collection of equipment, changes in the system of weapons slots and new elements of randomness in them.
