Square Enix promises to improve this classic JRPG with several patches in the coming months.


The harsh criticisms of Chrono Trigger on PC begin to take effect. Square Enix has announced that in the coming weeks will be released an update that as a main novelty, will allow you to enjoy the original graphics of this Japanese role classic. It is not the only change that is coming in a videogame that premiered in Steam its mobile version without changes, improvements or a minimum of adaptation work to the platform.

"The biggest change that will be included will be an option to toggle between the current high resolution and the original graphic style," reads the official message that Square Enix has shared on the Chrono Trigger page . The Japanese company continues. "We have been working to solve the problems that you have sent us, and in the coming months we will publish a series of patches" for the game.

The news of its first update, which arrives in mid-April, will be announced soon. On the other hand, in the face of criticism, Square Enix has decided to extend the availability of the Limited Edition until April 30.
