This is the Toy-Con Workshop by Nintendo Labo!

It is our first contact with the creation tool of Nintendo Labo.

The Toy-Con workshop is the powerful tool that includes Nintendo Labo , whose possibilities far exceed our expectations, as we have stated in this new report with the 6 keys to understand Nintendo Labo .

Basically, and in a few words, we have a friendly design interface to develop our own gaming experiences. It is a programming application based on diagrams and nodes to connect different actions.

As you can see, there are input, intermediate and output nodes . As an extremely basic example, we can place an input node ("If Joy-Con sees indicator") and another output node ("Joy-Con vibrates"). All through a system in which the only thing necessary is to touch, move actions along the screen and drag nodes to connect them. We have space to place dozens of actions by zooming out. We saw it, something that leaves us waiting to see how complex the toys we design can be.

One of the most interesting applications is to connect Toy-Con to each other , so that we could operate the controls of the Toy-Con Moto to make the Toy-Con Antenauta move. We were even assured that several Nintendo switches can be connected locally, something that we can not imagine right now. In general, the impression is that we still know very little about the real potential of this workshop.

Another very interesting example that we showed in Nintendo was that of an electric guitar with rubber bands . Something very rudimentary, but that implies that it does not take a big budget and effort to do original things. In fact, we found that in just over a minute you could create your program. The only thing necessary is to have a lot of imagination.
