Santa Monica says that God of War hides many winks and secrets!

We will find references throughout the game, even in the menus.

In a round of questions and answers published on the PlayStation blog, Cory Balrog (director of God of War ) has remarked the amount of winks, references and secrets that we will find in the next Kratos tour.

"I'm a fan of that kind of thing," says Barlog. "There are secrets and references hidden everywhere, I mean, literally everywhere: we talk about the physical packaging, the menus, the loading screens when you open the menu of options, and that kind of thing."

Everything indicates that the Nordic setting will not only help God of War to give a new and interesting background, but that fans will have the opportunity to discover new curiosities over time.

"Let people comment 'did you know ...?' it's one of the things I hope to see over time "continues the director. "I think it's great, it's the fun part of making video games, there's a lot of complexity, but that complexity allows us to hide things that are very interesting, and some are very well hidden."

God of War will arrive on April 20 exclusively on PS4. It offers a more personal and family adventure of Kratos and his son Atreus, in a Nordic setting and with a redesigned gameplay.
