Nintendo Switch surpasses the 4 million consoles sold in Japan!

The consultant Enterbrain assures that Nintendo Switch has surpassed the barrier of the four million consoles sold in Japan, reaching figures similar to those that the successful Wii reached in the same period of time. Specifically, the hybrid console has sold 4,037,144 units in 56 weeks.


At the time Wii exceeded the 4 million consoles sold in Japan in a time of 54 weeks. This data contrasts with the consultancy Media Create, which weekly offers us the sales of games and consoles in the country of the rising sun, and that indicates that the hybrid console of Nintendo would be close but would not have exceeded four million.


According to Media Create, which uses different measurement methods, Nintendo Switch has sold in Japan until this week 3,952,748 consoles.
