NINTENDO ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF NEW NINDIES FOR SWITCH!

Nintendo announces more than a dozen independent development videogames that will arrive at the Nintendo Switch Nintendo eShop throughout this 2018.


Nintendo announces more than a dozen independent development videogames , also known by the company as Nindies , that will arrive at the Nintendo Switch Nintendo eShop throughout this 2018. Among these new titles we can find stealth and action games like Mark of the Ninja Remastered, a tactical role as Banner Saga 3, or a rhythmic 'matamarcianos' like Just Shapes and Beats.
Next, we show you some of the most outstanding titles:
  • Mark of the Ninja Remastered , by Klei Entertainment: The acclaimed original title of 2012 will return in the autumn in a high-definition remastering. Title with which we will feel like a true ninja using silence, agility and ingenuity as our best weapons to move through the beautiful 2D environments.
  • Banner Saga 3 , Versus Evil: The conclusion of the award-winning Nordic role trilogy adult tone, Banner Saga, will come to Nintendo Switch this summer. Banner Saga and Banner Saga 2 will also soon reach Nintendo Switch , and during the course of the trilogy it will be necessary to make complicated decisions and face tragic losses.
  • LUMINES REMASTERED , by Enhance Games: A whole harmony of lights and sounds in an intense musical puzzle comes this spring to Nintendo Switch with LUMINES REMASTERED, a review in high definition of the acclaimed LUMINES by Tetsuya Mizuguchi will arrive this spring allowing to play both solo and local multiplayer.
  • Just Shapes & Beats , by Berzerk Studio: This 'musical matamarcianos' could be a genre in itself. The objective is to advance through deadly silhouettes alone or in online cooperative multiplayer, all to the rhythm of a soundtrack composed of 20 artists of 'chiptune'. Just Shapes & Beats comes to Nintendo Switch this summer as an exclusive temporary console.
  • Reigns: Kings & Queens , Nerial and Digital Return: Embodying a monarch of the modern age, we will have to face the incessant petitions of villagers, allies and enemies. Deciding whether or not sliding to the left or right is common for many people today, but this time, a 'like' or a 'nope' will mean imposing our will on an entire kingdom. Reigns: Kings & Queens will arrive at Nintendo Switch in the spring, with an exclusive local cooperative multiplayer mode.
  • The Messenger , Sabotage and Devolver Digital: It takes us to switch between an 8-bit style platform and a glorious 16-bit space-time adventure. Going through a damn land like a ninja, we will find improvements, new skills, hidden places and great opportunities. The Messenger will arrive at Nintendo Switch this summer.
  • Fantasy Strike , from Sirlin Games: In a world where martial arts go hand in hand with fantasy, anything can become a weapon. This dazzling fighting game uses subtle mechanics with simple combos and easy-to-execute special moves, in both multiplayer local modes (additional consoles or accessories are needed for the local multiplayer, sold separately) and online (an internet connection is needed) for the online game, we remind you that as of September 2018, some online services will also require a paid subscription). Fantasy Strike will arrive at Nintendo Switch this summer.
  • Pool Panic , from Rekim and Adult Swim Games: More than 100 different levels await in this game in which anything, such as jungles, deserts or cities, can become a gigantic pool table. This rarity / madness allows you to play in local multiplayer for up to four players. Pool Panic will arrive this year, first to Nintendo Switch.
  • Garage , from tinyBuild Games: Inspired by Gore B-series movies, Garage is a top-down perspective shooter set in a wasteland in the underworld in which to end undead hordes with all kinds of weapons and abilities. Garage will launch in the spring, first on the Nintendo Switch.
  • Light Fall , by Bishop Games: This platform adventure takes us to the lost world of Numbra, where we will have to dominate the environment by manipulating the 'Shadow Core', a magic box with which to propel itself into the air. In 'Speedrun' mode we can compete with our friends from all over the world to climb the online rankings. Light Fall will come as a temporary console exclusive for Nintendo Switch this spring .
  • Bomb Chicken , from Nitrome: Who would not want to play chicken platforms from the old school? That is the question that Bomb Chicken asks you, proposing an agile game that combines action, puzzles and an arcade style game in which to plant bombs to escape difficult situations and discover secret areas. Bomb Chicken will arrive this summer, first for Nintendo Switch.
  • Pode , by Henchman & Goon: Two traveling companions that nobody would expect to embark on a cooperative adventure of puzzles and exploration. Pode is inspired by the culture and art of Norway to show some impressive scenarios. Pode is released this spring on Nintendo Switch.
  • West of Loathing , Asymetric: West of Loathing is a comedy of peculiar humor made with stick dolls, set in the Wild West and with touches of RPG. This hilarious game, full of puzzles, missions and battles in turns, is an exclusive console that will arrive in the spring to Nintendo Switch .
  • Bad North , from Plausible Concept and Raw Fury: Equip your troops, shore up your defenses and protect the citizens in this rogue-lite strategy in real time. This story of Vikings called Bad North will be released this summer, first on the Nintendo Switch.
