GAMEMAKER STUDIO 2 IS UPDATED TO INCLUDE NEW LANGUAGES!

The recognized engine to develop 2D games, GameMaker Studio 2, will update its development environment as well as manuals for French, German and Spanish users


The recognized engine to develop 2D games,  GameMaker Studio 2 , will update its development environment as well as manuals for French, German and Spanish users. Adding, in this way, three new languages ​​as announced by YoYo Games . The engine also plans to add more locations throughout the present 2018.
GameMaker Studio 2 allows both expert developers and novices to create any game they can imagine . In addition, it combines easy tools of the "drag and use" type, that is, editable and visible from the interface itself as well as tutorials and materials with the GameMaker Language (GML). On the other hand there are also available advanced and professional functions, such as physics motor, particles and advanced shadows.
James Cox, CEO of YoYo Games stated the following:
WE CONSIDER THE INCLUSION OF FRENCH, GERMAN AND SPANISH, BOTH IN THE SOFTWARE AND IN THE CORRESPONDING MANUALS, AS A VERY NECESSARY STEP SO THAT THE DEVELOPMENT OF GAMES IS AS ACCESSIBLE AS POSSIBLE FOR ALL. GAME DEVELOPMENT IS A GLOBAL HOBBY AND WE WANT IT TO BE AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST STARTING OUT. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WHO MAKE GAMES WITH GAMEMAKER, AND THIS UPDATE AIMS TO RECOGNIZE THE POTENTIAL OF PEOPLE WHO WANT TO MAKE GAMES IN THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE. WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO BARRIERS TO ACCESSING GAMEMAKER STUDIO 2, AND THIS UPDATE IS PART OF THAT PROCESS.
